No Side rails come with this lifter. It will work on current side rails. Side Rails do not wear out.

To replace the lifter in the cabinet, you will need first remove machine platform, then unscrew the side tracks and slide the lifter forward out through the front of the cabinet. It is too large to lift straight up.
